Donations  – why donate?

A member listening

Listening Books could not survive without the donations we receive from charitable trusts and individuals. We need to raise enough money each year to provide an essential service to approximately 27,000 members, all of whom have a print impairment, range in age from 6-100 and live throughout the UK. Your donation will go towards helping the widest range of people with varying disabilities including dyslexia, arthritis, cerebral palsy, ME, MS, glaucoma and autism to name just a few. Scroll down to find out how your money could be spent. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for considering donating to Listening Books.

Give As You Earn

Give As You Earn LogoListening Books runs a 'Give As You Earn' scheme which means you can support our work each month directly from your earnings, with minimum disruption to you.

To make a general donation or join our 'Give As You Earn' scheme, call 020 7407 9417, email donations@listening-books.org.uk, or donate here.

A legacy for Listening Books

Whether you have already written your will or are thinking about writing one in the near future, we ask that you consider leaving a legacy to Listening Books.  Whatever the amount, your gift could make a vital difference to the lives of our members for years to come.

We are continuously striving to bring the best possible service to our members and are proud of the work we have done in recent years to achieve this.  However, there is still a lot more that we would like to achieve in order to reach the many people out there who would benefit from the life-enhancing effects our audiobooks can bring.  It is also essential that we maintain an excellent standard of service for existing members.  Leaving a gift to Listening Books in your will could make an incredible difference in breaking down the barriers to the written word for people with print impairments.

Your solicitor will be able to advise on how you could include a legacy to Listening Books in your will.  S/he will need to know our Registered Charity Number: 264221.  If you are intending to help us in this way, we would be grateful if you could inform us by emailing donations@listening-books.org.uk or by telephoning 020 7407 9417.
