What are MP3 CDs?
MP3 CDs are similar to standard CDs but what sets them apart is that they can hold a lot more information; for example, an audiobook that may be ten standard CDs long can fit onto one MP3 CD. This is an advantage for our members as they no longer have to worry about changing the CDs or searching through numerous discs. MP3 CDs can be played on most modern CD players ,DVD machines and computers. The MP3 CD will play continually but is also split up into five to ten minute sections so our members can stop listening at any time and find their place easily again.
MP3 CD players can be bought from most electrical retailers. If you are having trouble finding a player, please contact the library team: 0207 234 0522 or follow this link for a list of available players.
