She attended Cheltenham Ladies College, where she read a lot of murder mysteries. The Murder Most Unladylike series follows Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong, who set up the Wells and Wong detective society, and investigate their first case after Hazel discovers the murder of the science teacher Miss Bell at the Deepdean School for Girls.
