June marks Pride Month, an annual celebration of LGBTQ+ culture - spotlighting the history of the gay rights movement and championing ongoing equality. As well as bringing people together to celebrate love, friendship and positive change, the month also helps raise awareness of the issues that continue to affect the LGBTQ+ community.

And what better way to mark the occasion than by highlighting some of the top LGBTQ+ stories and authors in our audiobook catalogue?

If you’re wondering where to begin, look no further. We’ve put together a list of ten excellent titles spanning a range of genres - from fantasy and sci-fi to literary fiction, young adult and even sports romance.

We’ve also included some suggested reads for when you’ve finished these popular picks.

  1. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

Undoubtedly one of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s most beloved novels, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is a sweeping exploration of the life and loves of the now reclusive Hollywood icon. Framed around Evelyn recounting her story to journalist Monique Grant under the guise of writing her biography, the novel transports listeners to the glamour of 1950s Los Angeles through to the late 1980s - complete with scandal, and of course, seven husbands along the way.

With a heartfelt central love story and plenty of twists throughout, Reid’s historical drama is certainly a gripping listen.
