Excellent book from the writer of Death in Paradise
I really enjoyed listening to the story. What I really liked about the book was the protaganist was not a Miss Marple style character who saw through everyone and solved things easily. Instead, they made mistakes and went down false paths, bringing us, the listeners, along with them. The main characters were written with lots of detail and were very likeable, and I thoroughly enjoyed the book from beginning to end.

Very disappointing
I've loved Mr. Thorogood's books and was excited to see there was a new one. However, that excitement faded very soon into the story. The basic plot was promising but soon disappointed. Characters were weak and situations were unrealistic.
